Xi'an Jiaotong University is one of the oldest and worldwide known university of China. As pointing out the honorary titles given by the Xi'an Jiaotong University (XJTU) to whom in contact and in cooperation with the well known scientists, it is quoted that; "With the regard of outstanding contributions to science in addition to the reputation in academic society, by granting help to the scientific improvement in China and China's international scientific cooperation services, involvements on scientific research at XJTU, superior contributions in heat transfer field especially within the works of two phase flows and heat transfer, thermophysics, fuel cells, modelling and micro heat transfer fields resulting as him being a very well known scientist, honorary professor title is deposited." On the other hand, for the sake of his lifelong friendship with worldwide known scientist Prof. Xuejun CHEN who is the founder of "Multiphase Flows and Heat Transfer State Laboratory", and additionally Prof. Kakaç's contributions for this laboratory which is very essential for power plants, Prof. Kakaç is invited to the 100th birthday anniversary of Prof. Xuejun CHEN.
